40 Days Prayer and Fasting is an annual event where the people of IFGF GISI worldwide pray and fast together. This year, we will be fasting from the period of August 18 to September 26.

It’s time for God’s children to rise up and share the gospel throughout the world. iCare is not only a program centered but people centered. We must make this sacrifice for God’s people. Through prayer we can reach for people!

There are 5 sacrifices so that the Gospel of Jesus Christ can be spread throughout the world. Those sacrifices are:

Mission is the heartbeat of God. “Go and make disciples of all the nations,“ He said, “baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:19).

The IFGF GISI family worldwide has committed to making April as the Mission Month. This entails encouraging mission works by each local church through their giving, prayers, and activities throughout the month of April.

All of us are provided with a prayer booklet to guide us when praying for the nations. You may download the PDF version of the booklet here.

Here is how you can participate in the Mission Month:

1. Choose 7 nations or areas that you commit to pray for during every week of one month.
2. Pray for 7 - 8 areas/topics corporately in your iCare group every week.
3. Use the theme related to “Strengthening the Foundation” for weekly sermons, Sunday Service, GOL, GOL Kids, WOV, and iCare during the month of April.
4. Intercede together (5 - 7 minutes) during every Sunday Service.

Jimmy Oentoro alongside with team that comes from churches from IFGF GISI Central USA Region conducted a mission trip to Equador. The team includes Ps. Julianto Gunawan, our very own Senior Pastor.

The story began when Pastor Jimmy Oentoro was holding a crusade in Sudan last December. During this time he met Mr. Walter Hidalgo, a man who lives in his hometown of Quito, Ecuador. Pastor Jimmy then started to share the burden that God has placed for IFGF GISI to expand the Kingdom of God into the South American countries and the Spanish-speaking people. In such a short amount of time, God orchestrated this journey for IFGF GISI to enter the country of Ecuador. God assembled a team of IFGF GISI pastors and He works mightily through Mr. Walter to organize a four days (March 12-15) of Harvest Festival and Crusade in the evening plus Youth Outreach (on March 15) in the city of Quito, Ecuador with the theme: Nada Es Imposible, Impossible Is Nothing.

Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.
Love doesn’t strut,
Doesn’t have a swelled head,
Doesn’t force itself on others,
Isn’t always “me first,”
Doesn’t fly off the handle,
Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,
Doesn’t revel when others grovel,
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
Puts up with anything,
Trusts God always,
Always looks for the best,
Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end.
